We're just off the Kancamangus Highway, which traverses the White Mountains west to east between Lincoln and North Conway providing scenic vistas and hiking along the way. It's a must during late March through November. During winter months heavy snow tends to limit or restrict access entirely.
The Mount Washington Hotel is another fascinating site to see and experience. Located across from Bretton Woods ski resort after a day or morning of skiing head over to the hotel for dinner and drinks or explore the national historical landmark where in 1944, it hosted the Bretton Woods International Monetary Conference. Delegates from 44 nations convened, establishing the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, as well as setting the gold standard.  Bretton Woods and The Mount Washington hotel are a 40-minute drive and can be accessed using I-93 North.

Birchwood at Mansion Hill Condominiums, Lincoln, NH

As I briefly described the town of Lincoln in my first post I would now like to introduce our condominium which resides there. A 5 minute walk into town this two-bedroom, two bath unit includes a soapstone wood-stove, TV, DVD, stereo, CD player as well as a few board games and puzzles your use.
Off the deck sunset reflections offer an enjoyable dining setting for a home cooked meal. Or during the winter months enjoy the spacious dining/living area which includes a natural wood table and six chairs. There is a "chef's window" between the full kitchen and dining area that makes serving easy.
A full, pullout couch and love-seat add to the living area and is usually the most sought after space after a day of outdoor adventure. If you feel up to it test your puzzle skills on the coffee or kitchen table and if you complete it leave it there and we'll slide it under the glass.
The master bedroom and has two large windows that offer ample sunlight in the winter and a unique view of the White Mountains.

Enjoy Nature at Her Best: Winter, Spring Summer or Fall

Located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire the town of Lincoln provides access to hiking, skiing and snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and mountain biking. Main Street offers a variety of restaurants from Italian to Asian cuisine.
